Jeremy Hastings is a RHS Chelsea flower show 2025 exhibitor. Nominated by the Luxury Living magazine as one of the top 10 trade stands to visit in 2025. Jeremy Hastings will be showcasing a variety of slate water features for your garden.
This image captures a serene and stylish indoor-outdoor living space, where the focal point from the interior is a beautifully crafted slate water feature visible through wide open glass doors. The feature, designed by Jeremy Hastings, resembles a Cornish mining chimney and sits atop a circular Corten steel base, echoing industrial heritage in a contemporary garden setting. From the vantage point of a cozy leather armchair, next to a modern wood-burning stove and a vase of fresh flowers, your eye is naturally drawn outward to the water feature framed by a lush green garden. The stacked Cornish slate structure rises with a tapering silhouette, subtly bubbling water from its top, bringing movement and tranquility to the space. This composition beautifully blends indoor comfort with outdoor charm, using the sculptural water feature as a visual anchor that links the two environments while referencing local craftsmanship and landscape history.
This striking garden water feature is a sculptural piece by Jeremy Hastings, designed to evoke the iconic Cornish mining chimneys that dot the landscape of Cornwall. Constructed entirely from stacked Cornish slate, the tapered column resembles the timeworn stonework of historic engine houses, paying tribute to the region’s rich industrial heritage. At the top, a central aperture allows water to bubble up gently, trickling down the textured surface before being recirculated internally. The base is surrounded by slate chippings and nestled into a lush, naturalistic planting scheme, which enhances the connection to the Cornish countryside. Like the other pieces in Hastings’ collection, this self-contained feature uses a hidden pump system, eliminating the need for external plumbing or reservoirs. It serves both as a sculptural centerpiece and a calming water source, blending artistic craftsmanship with landscape history.
This is a beautiful and contemporary water feature known as the Corten Steel and slate topped water table, designed by Jeremy Hastings. It features a Corten steel base—recognized for its rich, weathered, rust-like patina that adds warmth and industrial charm to garden settings. The top is made from Cornish slate, carefully arranged in concentric layers that rise to a central point where water gently cascades over. The design is self-contained: a submerged pump sits inside the unit, recirculating water quietly over the slate surface. This creates a calming, reflective water effect without the need for a visible reservoir or pond. The combination of natural slate and aged metal makes it a striking focal point in modern or naturalistic garden designs. The version shown here appears to be 600mm in diameter, blending beautifully with surrounding foliage and gravel paths.
Cornish chimney water feature. The water feature is a conical stack of Cornish slate, carefully layered to form a textured, tapering chimney. Water flows down the surface, enhancing the stone's natural texture and producing a soothing sound. This feature was created by Jeremy as a reflection towards the Cornish mining heritage. This large chimney stands 1.6m tall
A beautiful image of a medium (800mm) over flowing semi-sphere set amongst beautiful planting of purple flowers and lush green grasses. This water features works in the same way as the ball waterfeature, water cascades over the top of the conical slate top but due to the extra slate lip around the semi sphere the water then drips down over the bottom of the bowl.
Cornish slate overflowing semi-sphere; A unique water feature to Jeremy Hastings design. This medium semi-sphere measures 800mm in diameter. A stunning feature in the soft glow of daylight surrounded by grasses and a slate path leading towards the feature.
Jeremy Hastings 5 star award winning stand at RHS Chelsea 2025 showcasing the handcrafted slate water features. Over flowing semi sphere on a Corten steel sump reservoir. This unique design of the rustic slate water feature has been adapted to tie in with the customers garden design with already specified Corten steel planters, linking together perfectly the planting and water feature style. There are lots of brown undertones running throughout this garden from the pebbles, to the planting to the bricks used on the house.
Jeremy Hastings 1.5m Slate Ball Water Feature First unveiled at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 as part of our 5-star award-winning stand, this striking water feature is a bold statement piece designed for impactful outdoor spaces. Measuring 1.5 metres in diameter, the perfectly sculpted natural slate sphere exudes timeless elegance, with water gently cascading over its textured surface to create a tranquil, reflective atmosphere. The slate ball rests atop a robust Corten steel base, whose weathered patina offers a warm contrast to the cool slate. This is surrounded by carefully selected granite chippings, adding structure and polish to the installation. Ideal for large gardens, vineyard entrances, hotel courtyards, garden parks, and other public or commercial landscapes, the piece delivers both visual drama and meditative calm — a powerful centrepiece that draws people in and slows time.
Over-flowing semi-sphere. Adapting the usual design from Jeremy Hastings ball water features, this over-flowing semi sphere combines the feature of the ball and the original semi sphere in one. The water cascades over the top of the feature and water droplets then fall off the edge.
A sweeping slate path, leads towards this stunning water feature. This photo was taken by our customers in the beautiful light of the day with dappled sunlight coming through the trees. Such a relaxing area has been created here with gentle grasses and the subtle flow of the water from the feature.
